It doesn’t take a genius or someone with super sophisticated artistic flair to create a completely functional and comfortable baby nursery. You don’t have to create an extravagant nursery. As long as it has the important elements and items, the nursery will serve its function right. So, what you should consider in planning the nursery design, anyway?
Firstly, choose the theme. Actually, it is up to you to come up with a theme or not. But even if it is not, that’s fine. When you come with a theme, be sure to keep it down and not overdo it. For instance, if you have the owl theme or the jungle flair, decorate the wall with the right elements. Jungle wall decal or owl stickers will be okay. To strengthen the theme, choosing a green carpet or zebra-stripes carpet will match the design. There is no need to have the theme on the wall, on the cot, on the cabinet changing station, and everywhere. It will be too much.
Secondly, in the event that you don’t come up with a theme, a matching color will help. A baby nursery with combination of white, gray, and pink (if it is a baby girl – or blue if it is a baby boy) will deliver a soothing and peaceful atmosphere. Light gray for the room will look great with the white wooden cot and a pink sheet. A white cabinet with pink pad as the changing station is simple and yet super stylish.
